What is the electrical voltage in Italy? Will I need an adapter?

Yes, Italy uses 230V voltage and Type C, F, and L plugs (two or three round prongs). If you’re traveling from Brazil, the U.S., or Canada, you’ll likely need a plug adapter and possibly a voltage converter for certain electronics (like hair dryers, straighteners, or electric razors). Most phone chargers and laptops are dual voltage (100–240V) and will work fine with just an adapter.

How far apart are the accommodations at Le Filigare,

and will transportation be provided between them?

If you’re staying on-site at Le Filigare, the accommodations are located in two areas of the property, no more than 500 meters apart. For guests who may need assistance moving between the locations, we will have golf carts available to help with transportation.

How do I book accommodations on-site at Le Filigare?

When filling out the RSVP form, please select “Yes” under the “Accommodation Preference” section. We’ll contact you directly to coordinate your room assignment and confirm details. The booking fee is $250 USD per night per room.

Do I need a car during the wedding weekend?

A car is highly recommended, especially for guests staying off-site or planning to explore nearby towns and wineries. Le Filigare is located in the countryside, and taxis or ride-shares are limited. There is complimentary on-site parking available for all guests.

Are all wedding events outdoors?

Yes! All events will take place outdoors, surrounded by the olive groves, vineyards, and terraces of Le Filigare. Please plan your footwear and layers accordingly.

What kind of weather should we expect?

Early September in Tuscany is typically warm and sunny during the day (around 27–30 °C / 80–85 °F) and cooler in the evening (16–18 °C / 60–65°F). Light layers are recommended.

Is Le Filigare family-friendly?

Yes! Children are welcome. Please include their names and ages in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

I’m planning to arrive early or stay longer in Italy.

What are some places to visit nearby?

Tuscany offers endless beauty! If you’re looking to explore the Chianti region, we recommend exploring nearby towns like San Gimignano, Castellina in Chianti, and Greve in Chianti for wine tastings and local cuisine. You can also take easy day trips to Florence (1 hour), Siena (1 hour), or Panzano in Chianti (20 minutes). For a longer getaway, visit the stunning Val d’Orcia region, home to Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, and Montalcino (our favorite hilltop towns!) for breathtaking landscapes, world-class wines, and charming hilltop villages.
